1960 Gibson GA-4RE Reverb/Echo Unit in Wellsburg, West Virginia For Sale

This is not a toy!! I found this unit in a amp swap back in xxxx. I held on to it for over 33 years trying to find someone who would try to fix it. Made by Gibson for 3 years and that was about it. Gibson sold the rights to it to Moog. They did nothing. so, this is the only one I have ever seen or heard about. I have spoke to at least 10 repair specialists about getting it fixed. Noone would touch it. So it sat and I kept hunting for the right wizard to come along. Played a four month gig at "The Brooke Hills Playhouse doing the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I met a girl. This girl couls reallyl sing you to heaven. Lets call her S. S had a boyfriend who was a guitar equipment guru and finally after 33 years it is fixed. My friend (lets call him A ) worked on it for two + months rebuilt it and now it is BEAUTIFUL.
Everyone knows times are tough..sooner or later people have to make sacrifices. this is one of those times. I have been looking for one of these everywhere. have not seen one. If you like rare equipment and unique sounding equipment you have to check this out.
This unit does not use reverb springs but a cannister filled with oil. .This unit has been rebuilt and is in excellent operating condition.. give me a call @ 304-224-xxxx and lets talk. ask for Steve or respond here.
